Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' character figure "Figuarts ZERO" new sub-series "Touche Metallique" will release its latest product, "Figuarts ZERO Touche Metallique Steel Jeeg", based on "Steel Jeeg"! The suggested retail price is 22,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2024.
In "Steel Jeeg", originally created by Go Nagai, Tatsuya Yasuda, and Dynamic Planning, the protagonist is Hiroshi Shiba, a cyborg who underwent a secret operation. He can transform into Steel Jeeg's head by striking his fists together, and then connect the remaining body parts via magnetic force to form the giant robot Steel Jeeg, which stands 10 meters tall and weighs 12.5 tons! He battles against the "Jamada Empire: Queen Himika", who has been reborn from a thousand-year slumber.
The "Figuarts ZERO Touche Metallique Steel Jeeg" pre-painted finished product is sculpted by the brilliant sculptor Tomonobu Fuchi. It captures the heroic appearance of "Steel Jeeg Centaur Form", a fusion of Steel Jeeg and the Magnetic Pegasus, recreating a dynamic and powerful presence, as if one can hear the warhorse's neigh! The total height is approximately 23 cm (to the top of the head). Rich color applications express the heavy metallic texture of the armor, while the Jeeg Lancer and Jeeg Shield held in both hands feature electroplating, presenting an even sharper metallic luster.
