Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY's popular toy series "ZOIDS" 40th Anniversary Project, 'ZOIDS 40TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECT', today unveiled for the first time a prototype of the new collaboration product with the classic fighting manga "Fist of the North Star", the "Wild Liger Kokuoh", with pre-orders expected to open soon.
In the original "Fist of the North Star", Kokuoh is the beloved steed of Raoh, the King of Fists and conqueror of the century's end. Its massive and jet-black physique is in no way inferior to its master Raoh's muscular build. The hoofprints it leaves behind resemble those of an elephant, and its jumping ability is astonishing. Its strength allows it to kick through thick iron gates and trample humans. Kokuoh is also a wise and fiercely loyal warhorse to Raoh; only those it approves of are worthy to ride on its back. It once followed Raoh even after his subordinates fled, to which Raoh responded to its loyalty, "Only Kokuoh can carry my body."
The collaboration product "Wild Liger Kokuoh" is a modification of the protagonist Zoid ZW01 Wild Liger from the previously released "Zoids Wild", with its body adjusted to the same jet-black color scheme as Kokuoh, and includes original stickers to represent Kokuoh's harness patterns. More detailed product information will be announced at a later date.
