GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" from Japan is releasing its latest product, the "POP UP PARADE SP Exodia the Forbidden One" PVC figure, based on the popular series "Yu-Gi-Oh!" The suggested retail price is 16,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2024!
In the story of "Yu-Gi-Oh!", the "Dark Master" is a classic ultimate ace, a demon god named Summoning God "Exodia" (Exodia), possessing immense power. However, due to its widespread malevolence, it was sealed away, its body and four limbs each sealed within five stone tablets, scattered across the world. To summon Exodia, all five pieces must be collected in hand. Once the cards are played, victory in the game is instantly achieved.
The specially BIG-sized "POP UP PARADE SP Exodia the Forbidden One" PVC figure, with an impressive height of approximately 26 cm, recreates the overwhelming presence of the Dark Master! It features meticulously sculpted ferocious facial details and exaggerated muscle lines, conveying Exodia's malevolence and imposing aura. Adorned with ancient Egyptian-style gold and red accents, its scarred body is treated with an aged shadow paint application, faithfully reproducing the illustration quality from the card! The chains on its hands and feet also emphasize the heavy feeling of confinement, showcasing a mysterious yet powerful presence.
