To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the anime "Mobile Fighter G Gundam"'s broadcast, BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product in its popular candy toy line, "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA," the "Master Gundam (Meikyo Shisui)," scheduled for release in September 2024.
The GF13-001NHⅡ Master Gundam is the Mobile Fighter utilized by the Undefeated of the East, Master Asia, during the 13th Gundam Fight. This machine is the latest cutting-edge unit, improved by Neo Hong Kong from the "Kowloon Gundam" previously used by Master Asia. Although its armor is composed of DG Cells, which are prone to berserking, Master Asia's powerful mental strength allows him to fully control it, utilizing its self-repair function in Gundam Fights while also thoroughly demonstrating Master Asia's exquisite martial arts, unleashing special moves such as "Darkness Finger" and "Sekiha Tenkyoken."
The "G-FRAME FA Master Gundam (Meikyo Shisui)" is a modified version of the Master Gundam included in the fifth installment. It uses various molding and paint colors to represent its golden body in Super Mode, with the twin eye cameras, forehead sensor, and central chest part all repainted in metallic red. The entire unit also boasts flexible articulation thanks to the G-FRAME FA series frame, allowing for dynamic poses.
For accessories, not only has the "Master Cloth" effect from the regular version been changed to a more show-accurate clear pink molding, but new additions include a Darkness Finger effect, an energy projectile-shaped Sekiha Tenkyoken effect, a palm-shaped Sekiha Tenkyoken effect, various interchangeable hand parts, and a display stand. The palm-shaped Sekiha Tenkyoken, in addition to its massive size, features articulation in each finger joint, allowing it to grasp the separately sold God Gundam to recreate the iconic master-disciple battle scene. Furthermore, two sets of parts for the "Near Crusher" and "Distant Crusher" (used for two-palm combat) are included, one for the regular version and one for the Meikyo Shisui version.
