Japan's Kaiyodo company's popular super-posable action figure "REVOLTECH" series, after announcing the release of "REVOLTECH OPTION PARTS Expansion Pack Vol.1" two months ago, quickly followed up with news of the second installment, "REVOLTECH OPTION PARTS Expansion Pack Vol.2". The suggested retail price is 1,980 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in October 2024!
Kaiyodo's Revoltech "REVOLTECH" is an action figure series featuring fictional characters, known for combining exquisite sculpting with ultra-high posability. It utilizes the Revolver Joint designed by manga artist Yasuhiro Nightow and designer Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, having released numerous action figures from famous IPs. It is undoubtedly a series that action figure collectors are very familiar with.
The "REVOLTECH OPTION PARTS Expansion Pack" is specially designed for REVOLTECH series figures, compatible with various figures in the series to enhance playability. Following Vol.1, which featured long-range firearm weapons and effects, this installment introduces multiple close-combat weapons and items. It includes a large scythe, two kitchen knives, a pair of nunchaku, a book, a stun gun, and a blood-splatter effect for being cut. And the most important item is definitely that powerful melee weapon—the "Tsukkomi Paper Fan," allowing your action figures to easily handle all sorts of "tsukkomi" (straight man/retort) situations!
