The 1/6 scale action figure series 'PLAY ARTS改', released by Japan's SQUARE ENIX company, today announced the latest product from the second part of the remake, "FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH", the "Yuffie Kisaragi Ver.2", scheduled for release in April 2025.
The lively and adorable ninja girl, Yuffie Kisaragi, hails from Wutai, a nation hostile to the Shinra Company. While her words and actions can be childish, her excellent ninjutsu is surprisingly reliable. In the original "FF7", Yuffie traveled far and wide stealing Materia to restore her nation, which had been trampled by Shinra, not even sparing Cloud's party's Materia. After a series of side quests, players had the chance to persuade Yuffie to join their party, though many players also completely missed her during their playthroughs. Years later, in the "FF7" remake, Yuffie's backstory was significantly revised to allow players to better appreciate her character's charm, and this time, she is guaranteed to be a playable party member.
The "PLAY ARTS改 Yuffie Kisaragi Ver.2" is a modification of the previously released "Ver.1" version. It utilizes numerous new parts to recreate her classic appearance, including her agile ninja tools and left arm gauntlet. It boasts high-resolution sculpting, similar to her in-game model, showcasing details such as fabric textures, wrinkles, metal buckles, and shoelaces.
In addition to the standard face part, a newly sculpted "battle face" is included for replacement. Accessories such as the large shuriken, a hand holding Materia, and various interchangeable hands are the same as Ver.1, allowing for dynamic battle poses from the game thanks to the figure's extensive articulation.
