BANDAI SPIRITS' incredibly popular "Ichiban Kuji" (Ichiban Kuji), where every draw wins a prize, will release the highly anticipated little gold Godzilla, "Godzilla (2023) SOFVICS Gold Color Ver.", themed after the latest Godzilla series film, "Godzilla Minus One"! The suggested retail price is 14,000 JPY, with pre-orders expected to open in May 2024 and shipping in August.
The Ichiban Kuji "Godzilla (2023) SOFVICS Gold Color Ver." stands approximately 23 cm tall. Popular kaiju sculptor Yuji Sakai (酒井 ゆうじ) was responsible for the prototype production. In addition to faithfully recreating the intricate rough skin texture, sharp and massive dorsal fins, and other characteristic features, it also sports the "Godzilla mini-statue" paint scheme, as seen when "Godzilla Minus One" director Takashi Yamazaki and the cast and crew appeared at the Academy Awards ceremony, with its entire body adorned in a dazzling gold finish! Furthermore, it comes with a commemorative "G-1.0" mini-plaque, making it even more prestigious for display!
