GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, featuring over a thousand types of posable figures, will release a new product based on the anime "Kaiju No. 8": "Nendoroid Kikoru Shinomiya". The suggested retail price is 7,300 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in September 2024!
Hailed as the greatest genius girl in history, Kikoru Shinomiya is a fellow cadet who participated in the Defense Force examination alongside Kafka. She is the daughter of Defense Force Commander Isao Shinomiya, and has received strict education and training since childhood. By the time she took the examination, she already possessed the formidable strength of a squad leader. She has high expectations for herself and is very confident, initially looking down on Kafka for participating in the examination at an advanced age (?). However, after being saved by Kaiju No. 8 and learning Kafka's true identity, she gradually developed feelings for him.
The "Nendoroid Kikoru Shinomiya" stands approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreating Kikoru's cool appearance in her Defense Force uniform with adorable proportions! Details such as her armor, waist pouch, and boots are meticulously rendered. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "confident face," a mocking "comical face," and a serious "combat face." Combined with her "exclusive weapon," the Shockwave Great Axe, and a "Defense Force mask," you can enjoy posing her ready to go into battle to subjugate monsters!
