Released by BANDAICANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, the 'SHODO SUPER' series, which condenses excellent sculpting, articulation, and paintwork into a 10 cm palm-sized figure, recently announced the latest Super Sentai series product, 'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Vol. 1,' scheduled for release in January 2025.
A popular Super Sentai series aired in 2013, "Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger" is a classic Sentai work that combines elements of dinosaurs and batteries. The story describes how in ancient times, Earth was invaded by the alien Deboth Army. The dinosaurs that fought against them were annihilated, but the Sage Torin selected some dinosaurs and granted them mechanical bodies, becoming the "Zyudenryu." They successfully counterattacked the Deboth Army and sealed away their leader. One hundred million years later, in the modern era, the Deboth Army's subordinates appear one by one to revive their leader, attempting to exterminate humanity and conquer Earth. Sage Torin once again selects ten humans to form the strongest heroes, "Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger," who fight alongside the ten Zyudenryu using the "Zyudenchi" that house the agile spirits of dinosaurs.
'SHODO SUPER Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Vol. 1' includes the five heroes who appeared initially: Kyoryu Red, Kyoryu Black, Kyoryu Blue, Kyoryu Green, and Kyoryu Pink. Each figure is produced with an articulated specification of approximately 10 cm in height, using vibrant paintwork to recreate the rich colors of the Kyoryugers' helmets, chests, and other areas. The entire body is also designed with abundant articulation points, allowing fans to pose them in their signature transformation and team-up stances.
The accessory parts also include a set of interchangeable hands for each Kyoryuger, the universal weapons "Gaburevolver" and "Gaburicalibur," their combined form "Gaburicannon," as well as their individual specialized weapons: "Gabutyra Fang," "Parasagun," "Stego Shield," "Zakutor Slasher," and "Dricera Lance." Furthermore, all five weapons feature a combining mechanism to recreate the "Kentrosaurus Spear," allowing fans to recreate the powerful combined finishing move performed by the five members!
