The 'HG (High Grade)' series of robot model kits, released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced the latest product from "Aura Battler Dunbine New Story of Aura Battler DUNBINE," the "HG 1/72 Sirbine [Special Coating Ver.]", slated for release in August 2024. This product will be exclusively sold on BANDAI's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The protagonist's Aura Battler in the OVA "Aura Battler Dunbine New Story of Aura Battler DUNBINE," the Sirbine, is an Aura Battler that slumbered in the sacred land of "Bara-Bara." Shion Zaba, the reincarnation of protagonist Sho Zama, pilots this machine to protect Princess Remul, engaging in fierce battles against his arch-nemesis, the Black Knight Raban, who pilots the Zwarth. The Sirbine's design philosophy is vastly different from other Aura Battlers; it carries no projectile weapons and lacks any dashboard instrumentation. The pilot must wear a helmet and use the "Mind's Eye" with powerful Aura Power to target enemies, achieving its most formidable combat performance with just a sword and shield.
The "HG 1/72 Sirbine [Special Coating Ver.]" is a modified version based on the previously released standard edition. Its white exterior armor and various gold sculpted patterns are crafted using plated white and matte plated gold parts, respectively. The gold patterns on the scabbard and shield also exhibit a luxurious golden sheen. The polarized material molded wing parts are produced with fine glitter, creating a sparkling, luxurious texture when illuminated by light.
All other specifications remain identical to the standard version. The entire model features the latest articulation mechanisms, including double joints in the elbows and knees, horizontal swivel joints in the forearms, and independent articulation for each toe. These allow for dynamic and elegant battle poses when paired with the Aura Sword and shield.
