Following the "Kozume Kenma" figure, Megahouse's "G.E.M. Tenohira" (Palm-sized) series, which brings numerous anime and manga characters to life, is once again releasing a new product from the popular anime "
Kuroo Tetsuro"! The suggested retail price is 7,920 JPY, with an anticipated release in October 2024!
"Haikyuu!!" is a volleyball-themed anime series originally created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate and adapted by Japanese animation studio Production I.G. The recently released second theatrical film in the series, "Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle," marked the first time the series hit the big screen in Taiwan, sparking a "Haikyuu!!" craze! Among the characters, Nekoma High School Volleyball Team captain Kuroo Tetsuro and Kenma are childhood friends. Since childhood, Kuroo would drag Kenma along to play volleyball, constantly praising Kenma for his intelligence and skill. The two supported each other all the way to the Dumpster Battle, and Kenma's line in the movie, "Kuro, thank you for teaching me how to play volleyball!", surely brought many fans to tears!
This Kuroo Tetsuro Tenohira figure faithfully recreates Kuroo in his Nekoma High School volleyball uniform, depicted in a relaxed pose, leaning slightly back with one hand supporting his body and one leg raised. In his right hand, he holds a bottle of "Pocari Sweat" sports drink, which frequently appears in the series. The overall dynamic is much more spirited compared to Kenma's figure. The meticulous paintwork accurately reproduces the shadows on his uniform and accentuates Kuroo's muscular lines, while also capturing his signature mischievous grin. Displaying him alongside Kenma, who is scheduled for release in September, will surely evoke various touching and passionate scenes from the movie!
