Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand, BANPRESTO, under its "Senkou Zekkei" (Battle Light Scenery) series, which features two characters in a set to depict battle intensity, will release two new One Piece-themed products: "Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5" and "Rob Lucci Awakened Form," scheduled for release as prize figures in June 2024!
Luffy and Lucci's rematch appeared in Chapter 1069 of the manga. Luffy was enraged when Rob Lucci, a CP0 member who landed on the island to apprehend Vegapunk, harmed Atlas, one of Vegapunk's clones, and engaged him in a fierce battle. This was their second direct confrontation after their decisive battle at Enies Lobby! At the start of the battle, Lucci displayed his new ability—the awakened form of the Cat-Cat Fruit, Model: Leopard. Not to be outdone, Luffy immediately used his newly acquired Gear 5, and a powerful shockwave erupted as soon as they clashed!
These two prize figures are themed after the confrontation in Chapter 1069, showcasing Luffy and Lucci's awakened Devil Fruit forms. They meticulously detail various aspects of their new battle forms, recreating the Armament Haki on their fists with a glossy paint finish. The dust effects rising behind them are more dynamic and convey a greater sense of speed compared to the previously released "Senkou Zekkei Monkey D. Luffy / Rob Lucci," and the range of motion is also greater than before, showcasing the immense power of their rematch after their growth!
