American toy brand MEZCO TOYZ's highly popular 1/12 scale action figure series "One:12 Collective" has launched a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed product – the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Animated Series Deluxe Edition" 1/12 scale action figure set. The suggested retail price is US$400, and it is now available for pre-order on the MEZCO TOYZ official website!
The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Animated Series Deluxe Edition" 1/12 scale action figures stand approximately 17 cm tall. Crafted based on the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, this set includes the four turtle heroes: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. MEZCO's unique style interprets the turtles' designs, with head sculpts that faithfully capture the cartoonish feel of the animated series. The body appears leaner than in the show, featuring larger forearms, which brings it closer to the proportions seen in the original comics or the 2012 animated series. The sculpting showcases the textures of the turtles' skin and shells, and the letters on their belts are accurately reproduced. The belts themselves are made of leather, maintaining MEZCO's consistent high quality in costuming!
Regarding accessories, each character comes with three interchangeable head sculpts, and collectively, the four turtles provide a staggering 20 pairs of interchangeable hands! For weapons, each of the four turtles is equipped with their signature weapon: katanas, sai, nunchaku, and a bo staff. Additionally, the set includes various other weapons such as shurikens, kunai, and chains, with each turtle receiving a pair of each. Multiple impact effect parts are also included, allowing for the recreation of diverse combat scenes! This time, each character is also provided with tech gear like turtle ropes and shell communicators, recreating various designs by Donatello. The diverse and abundant accessories, combined with each turtle's 28 points of articulation, allow for countless display and play possibilities!
