Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the "S.H.MonsterArts" series, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology, today announced its latest product from the movie "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" – "Skar King"! The suggested retail price is 12,100 JPY, with an anticipated release in December 2024.
The evil antagonist "Skar King" from "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" is a quintessential dictator, cruel in nature, with violent eyes, terrifying fangs, and an overall appearance that sends shivers down one's spine. Wielding a bone whip as his weapon, he enslaves his own kind within the Hollow Earth. Believing himself to be the strongest in the world, Skar King not only rules his own empire but also seeks to conquer the surface world, forcing Kong to join forces with his former arch-nemesis, Godzilla, to confront him.
The "S.H.MonsterArts Skar King" meticulously sculpts details such as his muscular physique and sparse fur, referencing the CG data used in the film. The head parts can be swapped for two different expressions, and the entire body features precisely segmented articulated parts, providing a flexible range of motion without compromising the proportional sculpt. The interchangeable hand parts, combined with the bone whip weapon featuring an internal wire, allow for dynamic posing of his whip-wielding combat stances! Additionally, a replacement right arm part for "Kong (2024)" is included, allowing fans to recreate the "EVOLVED Ver." appearance scene from the movie.
