Chinese toy brand HIYA Toys, renowned for producing high-quality collectibles in Legendary Pictures' "Godzilla" series under its EXQUISITE BASIC line, will release a new product based on the movie "Godzilla vs. Kong"—the "Skullcrawler (2021)" non-scale articulated figure. It will have a suggested retail price of US$51 and is expected to be released in Q4 2024!

The Skullcrawler, which served as Kong's primary adversary in the 2017 film "Kong: Skull Island" and gave him considerable trouble, reappeared in "Godzilla vs. Kong" but was housed in a basement laboratory by Apex Cybernetics. It was designated as #10 and used as a test subject for the Mechagodzilla developed by Apex Cybernetics. Upon its debut, it was sliced in half by Mechagodzilla, controlled by Ren Serizawa, using its Proton Scream, starkly demonstrating Mechagodzilla's immense power!

This "Skullcrawler (2021)" non-scale articulated figure is an updated version of the "Skullcrawler" released last year. It meticulously sculpts the Skullcrawler's robust bones and sharp claws using original CG data from the film, and features the #10's iconic red and gold head. The upper and lower jaws are articulated, allowing for the exaggerated wide-mouth pose seen in the movie, and the neck joint design has also been updated to enable a wider range of dynamic poses. Furthermore, this release includes a new interchangeable tongue part, elevating #10's brutal image and recreating the powerful sense of oppression it exuded when unleashed in the film! With the release of #10, fans have begun to speculate whether this series will finally introduce the long-awaited Mechagodzilla, which is incredibly exciting!
