Good Smile Arts Shanghai (GSAS), established in China by Japan's Good Smile Company, has announced its latest products from the anime Summer Time Rendering: the "Ushio Kofune" & "Shinpei Ajiro" 1/7 scale pre-painted PVC figures! Each figure will retail for 16,800 JPY (tax included) and is scheduled for release in January 2025!
Ushio Kofune, the heroine of Yasuki Tanaka's manga Summer Time Rendering, is the childhood friend of protagonist Shinpei Ajiro. Due to her French-Japanese heritage, she has dazzling blonde hair and blue eyes. Ushio is bright, optimistic, energetic, and always eager to help. She has loved Shinpei since childhood, but before she could express her feelings, Shinpei left Hitogashima to live in Tokyo. When they met again, it was at Ushio's funeral... However, a few days after the funeral, Shinpei encountered Ushio on the beach, on her way to the summer festival. Shinpei gradually discovers strange phenomena, and the ancient local legend of the "Shadow Sickness" seems to be real.
The "Ushio Kofune" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 24 cm tall. Based on the anime's visual illustration, it faithfully recreates Ushio's adorable smile, her flowing blonde hair, and her memorable swimsuit from the series. Details such as the soft skin tone paintwork and the wrinkles in her swimsuit are exquisitely reproduced! The beach-themed base can be combined with Shinpei's figure to form a complete circular display base~
Also released simultaneously is the "Shinpei Ajiro" 1/7 scale figure, which stands approximately 26 cm tall. It exquisitely recreates Shinpei's cool and serious expression, with his tie and tied-up hair conveying a dynamic sense of being blown by the wind. The seashell necklace in his hand is also meticulously reproduced! You absolutely must get him along with Ushio~
