Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's popular product series "Nendoroid" will release two protagonists from "Kitaro Tanjou: GeGeGe no Nazo", "Kitaro's Father" and "Mizuki", in October 2024! The suggested retail price is 6,500 JPY (tax included) each.
The story of "Kitaro Tanjou: GeGeGe no Nazo" is set in Showa 31 (1956). Mizuki, an employee of the Imperial Blood Bank in Tokyo, travels alone to the remote village of Kurakuramura in the countryside to mourn the head of the Ryuga clan, Tokisada Ryuga, and to foster a closer working relationship with the potential next head, Katsunori Ryuga. What he initially believed to be a simple succession struggle within a prestigious family gradually escalates into a bizarre incident involving multiple gruesome deaths. Meanwhile, a mysterious white-haired man also arrives in Kurakuramura, searching for his missing wife. After some time together, Mizuki refers to him as "GeGeRo," and the two later decide to join forces to investigate the terrifying secrets hidden within this land...
This figure is designed based on Mizuki's classic suit-wearing appearance in the film. In addition to his hairstyle, the scar over his left eye is faithfully reproduced, allowing him to retain his dashing masculinity even after being rendered in the Nendoroid series' chibi style. His face plates include a calm thinking expression, a relaxed smiling face, and a blood-streaked shouting battle face. With accessories such as a cigarette, a sake cup, an axe, and more, you can recreate a variety of rich poses from the movie.
GeGeRo's figure is crafted according to his design, featuring his white hair covering his left eye, his blue kimono, and the spiritual hair bracelet tied to his left wrist. His face plates include a mysteriously smiling face, a blushing, blissful smile when speaking of his wife, and a gritting-teeth battle face when unleashing his spiritual power. Accessories include a photo of himself and his wife, a sake bottle, a sake cup, and more, allowing you to display GeGeRo's various emotional states from the film. Get him along with Mizuki to recreate scenes of leisurely drinking or fighting side-by-side!
