Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE, to commemorate the 45th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam," is releasing the latest high-quality product in its "Gundam Guys Generation (GGG)" series of male character figures from "Mobile Suit Gundam": the "GGG-DX Char Aznable ~Encounter~" pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 36,300 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in late November 2024.
The legendary figure of the Universal Century, Char Aznable, whose real name is Casval Rem Deikun, is the son of Zeon Zum Deikun, the founder of the Principality of Zeon. After his father was assassinated by the warmongering, dictatorial Zabi family, his mother fled with young Casval and his sister Artesia. After their mother's death, the siblings were adopted by the Aznable couple in the Texas Colony, and they developed a brotherly friendship with the Aznable's son, Char. In "Mobile Suit Gundam," Char's memorable appearance on a white horse when he arrived at the Texas Colony left a deep impression.
The "GGG-DX Char Aznable ~Encounter~" pre-painted figure stands approximately 38 cm tall. Based on the style drawn by original artist Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, it faithfully recreates Char's heroic appearance on horseback. The luxurious specifications meticulously depict Char's characteristic uniform and helmet, with his cape fluttering dynamically with the horse's spirited pose, showcasing Char's majesty and presence. The rearing white horse is realistically rendered with lifelike details such as muscle lines and prominent veins, and its facial expression is incredibly vivid. The deepened shadow painting highlights the overall details, exuding a formidable and powerful aura!
