American toy brand McFarlane Toys' DC Multiverse series has announced a new product based on the critically acclaimed Batman film "The Dark Knight" – the "Lucius Fox & Tumbler" set. The suggested retail price is US$99.99, and it is currently available for pre-order exclusively at McFarlane Toys Store (MTS). It is expected to ship in July 2024!
The "Dark Knight" series, with Nolan's unique perspective and aesthetic style, explored themes of justice, morality, and inner challenges, receiving widespread acclaim and being hailed as a pinnacle of superhero cinema. Lucius Fox, portrayed by actor Morgan Freeman, is the head of Wayne Enterprises' Applied Sciences division and was a close confidant of Bruce's late father. In the film, he introduced Bruce to the "Tumbler" armored vehicle developed by the division and modified it into the Batmobile, becoming one of Bruce's few trusted allies.
This Lucius Fox & Tumbler set includes a 7-inch articulated figure of Lucius Fox and the Batmobile. The figure sculpt captures Morgan Freeman's facial features and recreates his appearance from the film. The Batmobile faithfully reproduces the vehicle's body and various internal details based on its cinematic appearance, and features an opening canopy design, allowing 7-inch articulated figures from this series, such as Batman, to be placed inside, recreating the cool scenes of Batman driving the Batmobile!
