Japanese toy brand BellFine, known for releasing numerous three-dimensional figure products, will launch the assembly model "Mechanic Selection Part 2", themed after the classic anime "Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water" (ふしぎの海のナディア), in July 2024. This re-release features revised modifications! Scheduled for release in July 2024.
"Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water" (ふしぎの海のナディア, literally "Nadia of the Mysterious Seas") is a Japanese television anime series produced by GAINAX, adapted from Jules Verne's novel, which began airing in 1990. The story follows the protagonist, Nadia (ナディア, formerly translated as Ranria), a young girl unaware of her true origins. Living as a circus performer, she coincidentally meets the male protagonist Jean (formerly translated as Zhiqiang) and the young girl Marie, among other companions, embarking on an exciting adventure tied to her mysterious past.
This "Mechanic Selection" series of assembly model products, themed after "Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water" and released by BellFine, is the second installment (Part 2) in the series. It features various mechanical equipment and vehicles that appeared in the work, including the "Nautilus" battleship ridden by the protagonists, as well as the Red Noah, the Aerial Battleship, and the mouse-shaped Mechaking (メカキング). The collection is diverse, and each item comes with its own dedicated display base.
