Following the previous "Megazord (Daizyujin)" from Hong Kong model brand FLAME TOYS' "Furai Model" assembly model series, a new product themed after "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" is once again launched – the "Megazord Black Limited Ver." assembly model kit. The suggested retail price is US$109, and it is expected to be released in September 2024!
In 1993, businessman Haim Saban introduced Toei Company's 1992 Super Sentai series, "Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger," to the Western market. To cater to Western audiences, Saban Entertainment utilized the Japanese tokusatsu footage, reshooting and replacing the live-action scenes with actors' faces, adapting it into the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." It became an instant sensation upon airing, and subsequent Super Sentai series were introduced in the same manner.
This Megazord Black Limited Ver. stands approximately 22 cm tall in its combined form. Inspired by the black and gold design released by Bandai in 1993, it is assembled from over 280 pre-painted parts. The electroplated golden metallic sections, combined with black plastic parts, present an elegant and high-quality texture! The playability retains the original design of Sentai-style toys. After assembly, the separate Tyrannosaurus Dinozord, Mastodon Dinozord, Triceratops Dinozord, Sabertooth Tiger Dinozord, and Pterodactyl Dinozord can be combined to form the Megazord. Whether played with separately or in its combined state, it boasts high articulation, allowing for various cool dynamic poses. Wielding the Power Sword and Mastodon Shield, its appearance is truly incredibly cool! And just like the previously released "Megazord (Daizyujin)," this Megazord can also be reassembled into "Tank Mode," significantly increasing the overall play value!
