BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division has officially announced its latest model kit product from the movie "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire": "Godzilla (2024)", with a suggested retail price of 7,480 JPY, scheduled for release in December 2024!
The "Godzilla (2024) from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" model kit utilizes precise molding technology to recreate Godzilla's characteristic appearance from the film. It is divided into two parts: a unique skeletal structure and a highly detailed outer skin, allowing collectors to assemble it starting from the skeleton. After assembly, the model boasts a total length of 255 mm, powerfully recreating the King of the Monsters! Collectors can choose between two display states: the complete form with the skeleton covered by the outer skin, or displaying the skeleton alongside the outer skin. To support Godzilla's massive body, two types of support parts are included.
The unique
skeletal parts are designed by Japanese manga artist and character design master Shinji Nishikawa, precisely presenting a realistic skeletal form that matches the pose, including sharp teeth and claws. Transparent parts are used for the dorsal fin joints. The outer skin's complex textures and design cleverly minimize visible seams, and precisely divided parts recreate the intricate details of the mouth!
