The new assembly model series for younger audiences, "ENTRY GRADE," launched by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, today announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," the "EG Gunpla Carrying Box Included ENTRY GRADE 1/144 ν Gundam (Psycho-Frame Emitting Color)," scheduled for release on October 28, 2024.
In Universal Century 0093, Char Aznable spearheaded the Earth cooling operation, attempting to crash the asteroid base Axis into Earth during the "Second Neo Zeon War." Although it seemed to conclude with Earth Federation Forces ace pilot Amuro Ray shooting down Char's Sazabi, the massive front section of Axis, split in two by nuclear missiles, continued to fall towards Earth. At this critical moment, Amuro, piloting the ν Gundam, along with numerous mobile suits from all factions, began pushing Axis in the opposite direction. The ν Gundam's Psycho-Frame received the consciousness of all humanity in the Earth Sphere, converting it into thrust, creating a miracle known as the "Axis Shock" that pushed Axis away from Earth.
This product is a special color version packaged in a carrying box and includes soda candy. The kit is a modification of the previously released standard version, "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 ν Gundam," with the armor molding color replaced by a green-toned metallic color to represent the Psycho-Frame glowing during the pushback of Axis. It also includes armaments such as a beam rifle and shield.
The runner gates are specially designed, allowing parts to be easily detached by hand without the need for nippers. It also features precise part separation, with even the twin eyes having independent parts, allowing most of the mobile suit's colors to be reproduced through simple assembly without painting. The accessories include marking stickers not included with the standard version, which can be used to reproduce Amuro's personal emblem, the Londo Bell unit insignia, and other designs on various parts of the mobile suit. Furthermore, the outer box can be cut to create a display stand, allowing it to be showcased alongside the model itself.
