Japan's Bandai Namco Filmworks' bishoujo figure brand "VIVIgnette" recently announced its latest product from "I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince, So I Will Perfect My Magic as I Please": the "Sylpha" (Shirufa) PVC Painted Complete Figure! It is scheduled for release starting May 2025, with a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY (tax included).
The light novel "I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince, So I Will Perfect My Magic as I Please" by Japanese author Kenkyo na Circle tells the story of Lloyd, the 10-year-old seventh prince of the Saloum Kingdom, who possesses memories from his previous life and is dedicated to studying magic. Although he was reincarnated from a common magician, Lloyd was able to cast powerful magic that blew off the palace roof upon birth. Within his small body lies world-shattering magical power and profound knowledge of magic. This work later began serialization as a manga in Magazine Pocket and started airing as an anime in April this year.
The protagonist of this figure, "Sylpha," is Lloyd's maid and sword instructor. Sylpha possesses Langris-style swordsmanship skills that even demons cannot withstand. In the past, she was a formidable A-rank adventurer, earning the title "Silver Sword Princess"! Furthermore, Sylpha is also responsible for the fan service in this work!
This figure stands approximately 29 cm tall, faithfully recreating Sylpha in her blue and white maid outfit, captured at the moment she draws the demon sword "Demon Slayer" from its sheath, based on the action from episode 10 of the anime, "Sylpha's Sword." Not only are the intricate details of her attire meticulously sculpted, but the soft texture of the maid dress fabric, the lace decorations, the ornate tsuba of the Demon Slayer, and more, all showcase precise sculpting. Her ample bust is further emphasized with realistic folds, highlighting its volume. Additionally, the blades of both longswords are finished with a pearlescent visual effect coating, combined with the glossy sheen of her over-the-knee boots, adding to the luxurious atmosphere.
