Following the previously released "Ecto-1 (1984)," Hasbro, the renowned American toy manufacturer, has once again launched a product under its Ghostbusters "Plasma" series, themed after the classic 1984 Ghostbusters film: the "40th Anniversary 3.75-inch O-Ring Action Figure Set." It has a suggested retail price of US$44.99 and is expected to be released in February 2025!
The O-Ring manufacturing method was a technique widely used by Hasbro in the 1980s for its G.I. JOE 3.75-inch action figure series. It involves securing the figure's leg and torso parts with elastic rubber rings, ensuring structural stability while increasing articulation and playability!
This product features the four characters from the classic 1984 Ghostbusters film: Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore. All four figures are crafted using the vintage "O-Ring" manufacturing method and faithfully recreate their appearance in their ghost-busting uniforms from the movie. They also come with accessories such as a ghost trap and P.K.E. meter! The proton pack backpacks on the four characters' backs can be detached and stored in the trunk of the previously released "Ecto-1 (1984)." Place the figures in the driver's seat to recreate the iconic Ghostbusters deployment scene!
