Thailand's emerging art collectible studio, SPIRAL STUDIO, following their previous "Godzilla Evolved Form Collectible Statue," has once again unveiled a major character from the film "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire": the "Shimo" statue! With a suggested retail price of US$299, it is expected to be released in December 2024.
The most formidable presence in "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" – Shimo – is, in the MonsterVerse lore, the longest-surviving ultra-ancient dragon-like Titan. Its entire body is as white as frost, with elegant blue-purple hues emanating from its ice-crystal-like dorsal fins. It possesses powerful freezing abilities capable of plunging Earth into an ice age. Although gentle in nature, the frosty breath it exhales is a truly ferocious attack.
The SPIRAL STUDIO "Shimo" statue references the original CG data and designs from the film, meticulously recreating Titanus Shimo's pristine white appearance as seen in the movie. It is reproduced at an impressive size of approximately 30 cm in height and 60 cm in length. Every scale on its body is meticulously crafted with multiple layers of paint, shimmering with lifelike iridescent luster. The crystal details on its back are also carefully rendered, transparently conveying a realistic ice-crystal texture, sparing no effort to accurately capture Shimo's essence! From her majestic posture to the intricate details of her design, one can feel the artistry of elegant beauty infused with power.
