MODEROID "GOLDBURN Double Set Extra Gold Ver." Luxurious Electroplated Gold Parts Recreate Pre- and Post-Enhancement Forms!

To commemorate the upcoming online new product announcement event "MECHA SMILE IMPACT 2024 SUMMER" on June 21st, the Japanese brand MECHA SMILE today announced the commemorative product "MODEROID GOLDBURN Double Set Extra Gold Ver." from the anime "GRIDMAN UNIVERSE". Pre-orders for the product will open at 12:00 PM JST on the same day, with an estimated shipping date of August 2024.

First appearing in "SSSS.DYNAZENON", the kaiju GOLDBURN is a mechanical dragon with a golden luster, born from the kaiju core "Transforming Pearl" found by Chise Asukagawa. Since Chise, unlike the other members of the Gauma Team, does not pilot DYNAZENON, her desire to fight alongside everyone was gradually absorbed and nurtured by the pearl, eventually becoming the kaiju "GOLDBURN" that obeys her will. In addition to being able to giantize, it also possesses the ability to transform and combine with allies like DYNAZENON and GRIDMAN.

The "MODEROID GOLDBURN Double Set Extra Gold Ver." independently bundles and sells the previously released "GOLDBURN" and "BIG GOLDBURN" model kits. The original gold molded parts have been re-processed with electroplating, giving the armor a dazzling, luxurious gold finish.

Whether it's GOLDBURN from "SSSS.DYNAZENON" or the enhanced form BIG GOLDBURN from the theatrical film, their model kits feature the same transformation and combination mechanisms as previous versions. They can combine with separately sold MODEROID products such as Gridman, Gridknight, and DYNAZENON, recreating grand combined forms like "Chogattai Ryuo KAISER GRIDKNIGHT" and "Choryu Oh Gattai Chojin ROGUE KAISER GRIDMAN"!
