The new 1/12 scale articulated figure series "FigScript", launched by Chinese toy brand CCSTOYS, officially announced today that its first product from "Shin Getter Robo Armageddon", "Ryoma Nagare", is scheduled for release in October 2024.
The protagonist Ryoma Nagare, who appeared in the OVA anime "Shin Getter Robo Armageddon", was once a legendary figure who led the Getter Team in battle. Now, however, he has been framed for the murder of Dr. Saotome and has become a Class A felon. To thwart Dr. Saotome's world-destroying plot and seek revenge, he is granted parole and returns to the battlefield. His outstanding combat abilities and piloting skills have not deteriorated despite his imprisonment; he can single-handedly confront the Dinosaur Empire with merely an extremely old Getter-1.
The "FigScript Ryoma Nagare" figure stands approximately 16.8 cm tall and features flexible articulated joint designs throughout its body. In addition to the dramatically sculpted red scarf, which is recreated in plastic for a wild appearance, parts such as the trench coat, shirt, and pants are all made from fabric, allowing the body's range of motion to be fully utilized. Combined with handcuff parts on the arms and various interchangeable hand sculpts, cool poses can be achieved.
Accessories include four interchangeable face parts that recreate the rugged style from the pen of the late master Ken Ishikawa, as well as an alternate head featuring his classic "scarf-wrapped head" look. Furthermore, the deluxe accessories also include a watch-type communicator, a gun-type controller, a semi-automatic pistol, a revolver, a folding rocket launcher, grenades, shooting effects, and various other weapons and a display stand, allowing for the recreation of numerous battle scenes.
