American high-quality collectible brand Premium Collectibles Studio (PCS) introduces a new product based on "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace" – the "Darth Maul" 1/3 scale collectible statue, with a suggested retail price of US$1,530, estimated to ship between late 2024 and February 2025!
The main antagonist of "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace," Darth Maul, is the apprentice of Darth Sidious, tasked with capturing Queen Amidala of Naboo. The spectacular duel between Darth Maul and the master and apprentice Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi in Theed Palace on Naboo at the end of the film is undoubtedly one of the most memorable scenes in the movie, and one of the most classic fight sequences in the series!
This Darth Maul 1/3 scale collectible statue stands approximately 63.5 cm tall, capturing Darth Maul in the dynamic pose from when he first revealed his fearsome double-bladed lightsaber to the world in the film. The intricate sculpting faithfully reproduces actor Ray Park's facial features after his special effects makeup, as well as the flowing movement and wrinkled textures of his costume. The lightsaber features an LED light-up function, recreating the powerful, oppressive aura when the red glow shines on Darth Maul's face in the movie!
The base of this statue has also been meticulously crafted, with custom-made relief sculptures on all four sides depicting four scenes from the classic Theed Palace duel. Each relief also features an LED light-up function above it, elevating the overall quality of the statue!
