The suggested retail price is 18,480 JPY, with an estimated release in April 2025.
Mina Ashiro (亜白 ミナ), a popular female character from the manga series Kaiju No. 8 by Naoya Matsumoto, is the protagonist Hibino's childhood friend. The two promised to join the Defense Force together when they were young. By the time Hibino joined, she was already the captain of the Defense Force's 3rd Division and a candidate for division commander.
The "ARTFX J Mina Ashiro" 1/8 scale figure stands approximately 23 cm tall, faithfully recreating Mina's sleek black ponytail and cool appearance in her Defense Force uniform. Details such as the combat suit's armor and mask are meticulously crafted, utilizing different paint applications to create a layered sense of various composite materials. The bodysuit features realistic wrinkles that follow her body's movements, and equipment like the pistol holstered on her thigh and waist are precisely reproduced. The massive special weapon in her hand, the Heavy Sniper Cannon, is powerfully rendered with intricate paint details! The destroyed road on the base evokes the intensity of her fierce battles with Kaiju! Display her alongside other figures in the series to recreate the world of the work~
