T-ARTS Debuts Adorable "Shoulder-Lean Fig. Bocchi the Rock!" Gashapon, Featuring the Kessoku Band Napping Shoulder-to-Shoulder!

T-ARTS, a popular toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY Company, is releasing a new addition to its beloved "Shoulder-Lean Fig." series: the "Shoulder-Lean Fig. Bocchi the Rock!" capsule toy collection. Each gashapon is priced at 400 JPY and is slated for release in mid-July 2024!

"Bocchi the Rock!" is a four-panel manga series created by Japanese artist Aki Hamaji, which was adapted into an anime by CloverWorks in 2022. The story follows protagonist Hitori Gotoh, affectionately known as "Bocchi," who dreams of forming a band and diligently practices guitar. However, her severe social anxiety prevents her from achieving this goal. One day after school, she serendipitously encounters Nijika Ijichi, who is desperately searching for a guitarist for her band. This leads Bocchi to join the "Kessoku Band." Together with bassist Ryo Yamada and guitarist Ikuyo Kita, the four begin their musical journey, and Bocchi gradually confronts her social anxiety.

Each figure in the new "Shoulder-Lean Fig. Bocchi the Rock!" collection stands approximately 5 cm tall. The set features all four main members of the Kessoku Band: Hitori Gotoh, Nijika Ijichi, Ryo Yamada, and Ikuyo Kita. Rendered in the adorable "Shoulder-Lean Fig." style, these figures depict the characters in their Shuka High School and Shimokita High School uniforms. Each of the four girls is sculpted in a pose that reflects her personality, leaning on each other as they rest shoulder-to-shoulder, beautifully capturing the close bond and camaraderie within the band!
