GASHAPON, the capsule toy brand of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, which issues the "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE" series of "Mobile Suit Gundam" heavy equipment X ensemble capsule toys characterized by common connection points and infinite customization, today announced the new themed product "Gundam Mecha" is scheduled for release in September 2024.
During the "One Year War" between the Principality of Zeon and the Earth Federation Forces, although both factions primarily used "Mobile Suits" like Zaku, GM, and Gundam—humanity's latest technological crystallization—as their main weapons, these new types of weapons were not omnipotent. Traditional military units such as fighter jets, tanks, and infantry were still simultaneously deployed in battle to contend for superiority in air, sea, and land. For example, the Zeon forces deployed the "Magella Attack," which had a flying upper section, while a representative weapon of the Federation Forces was the "Core Fighter," which separated and transformed from the core block of a Mobile Suit.

To expand the worldview of the MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE series of Gundam products, Bandai is also releasing this "Gundam Mecha" at an average height of 5-6 cm, incorporating various weapons that appeared in Gundam works. The first wave features five units from the debut work "Mobile Suit Gundam": Core Fighter (2-unit set), Core Booster, Dopp, Magella Attack, and Type 61 Tank.
