Hong Kong toy brand threezero's 1/6 scale articulated figure series 'FigZero' recently announced the latest product from the anime version of 'ULTRAMAN', the '1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT C-TYPE (Anime Version)', slated for release in Q4 2024.
The ULTRAMAN SUIT is the reinforced armor used by protagonist Shinjiro Hayata. Developed by the Science Technology Research Institute, this suit is modeled after the original Ultraman and significantly activates the ULTRAMAN Factor within Shinjiro, whose physical abilities are extraordinary, granting him immense power to combat aliens. It boasts a rich arsenal including the "Specium Sword" and "Specium Ray". As the story progresses, Shinjiro's suit undergoes several improvements and enhancements. The "C-TYPE" released this time was originally a new type of battlesuit under development, but after a bewildered Shinjiro found his reason to fight, the C-TYPE suit responded to his awakened power, automatically transmitting and equipping itself, becoming Shinjiro's ultimate and strongest equipment.
The "1/6 ULTRAMAN SUIT C-TYPE (Anime Version)" recreates Shinjiro's strongest equipment with an articulated specification standing approximately 31.6 cm tall. It features plastic armor parts and an alloy articulated frame to form its cool design, meticulously detailing the armor surface and applying rich colors such as silver and metallic red to reproduce a heavy metallic texture. The head and chest also contain built-in LED light components to replicate its illuminated state.
Furthermore, the entire body boasts over 54 points of articulation, allowing for a flexible range of motion thanks to the precise articulation splits in areas such as the waist and feet. Accessories include 4 pairs of interchangeable hands and a "Specium Ray" special effect part for its finishing move, enabling dynamic battle poses when combined with the figure's articulation!
