Mattel Creations, the online sales platform of American toy company Mattel that collaborates with fan creators to sell their works, announced yesterday (17th) a new Batman-themed product from its popular die-cast car series "Hot Wheels" set to be released at the annual San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) – the "Batman 85th Anniversary Batmobile Collection" die-cast car set. The suggested retail price is US$50, and the product is also scheduled to be released simultaneously on the Mattel Creations official website on July 25, 2024, Pacific Time!

The well-known DC Comics superhero Batman, created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Over 85 years, he has undergone various film, television, and comic adaptations, and Batman's iconic "Batmobile" has also appeared with different designs and performances in each adaptation!

This Batman 85th Anniversary Batmobile Collection includes six Batmobiles that appeared in different works, including the classic 1966 television series "Batman," the 1989 film "Batman" directed by Tim Burton, the groundbreaking 1992 animated series "Batman: The Animated Series," the third film in the Tim Burton series from 1995, "Batman Forever," Christopher Nolan's 2005 film "Batman Begins," and Matt Reeves' 2022 film "The Batman." Each Batmobile will come with a corresponding mini Batman figure. The inner packaging features a window design, with a side portrait of Batman and characters from the respective works printed on the inside of the box. The outer box can be disassembled for direct display. The overall packaging adopts Batman's iconic black and yellow color scheme, and the outer box is even printed with the words "Long Live The Bat," making it an absolutely worthwhile anniversary collectible!
