American toy manufacturer Diamond Select Toys has launched a new product based on the popular American comic "Invincible" – the "Bloody Omni-Man and Invincible" action figure 2-pack. With a suggested retail price of US$49.99, it is exclusively available for pre-order on the renowned toy website Entertainment Earth, with an estimated shipping date of October 2024!
"Invincible" is an American adult superhero comic published by Image Comics. The animated series of the same name, adapted in 2021, sparked global discussion after its release on the streaming platform Amazon Prime. Omni-Man's ruthless fighting style in the final episode of the first season astonished many, and unexpectedly spawned memes like "Think Mark!" and the bloody subway scene.
This product is based on the blood-soaked appearance of Omni-Man and Invincible after Omni-Man crashed an unstoppable subway train into Invincible. Building upon the previously released "Invincible & Omni-Man 7-inch Action Figures," new head sculpts have been created featuring Omni-Man with his bangs down and Invincible with a broken lens on one side of his glasses. Both figures have also been repainted with exaggerated, extensive bloodstains, recreating the disheveled look of the father and son after their high-intensity "discussion"! The packaging box features a print of the classic "Think Mark!" scene, and the inside is printed with multiple storyboard panels of the scene, bringing to life the complex emotions of the work!
