The popular soft vinyl figure series "DefoReal", which incorporates exquisite realistic details into cute deformed proportions, produced by Japan's PLEX Company and released by X-PLUS Company, recently announced the latest product from "Godzilla vs. Biollante", the "Godzilla (1989) & Biollante Night Color Set", scheduled for release in November 2024.
Biollante is Godzilla's main enemy in the film "Godzilla vs. Biollante". It was originally a creation of genetic engineering authority Dr. Genichiro Shiragami, who combined his deceased daughter's cells with a rose to commemorate her. However, when the rose was on the verge of wilting, Dr. Shiragami added Godzilla's cells, which possess self-regenerative capabilities, causing the rose to continuously evolve and ultimately become the ferocious monster "Biollante".
This product not only bundles the previously released "DEFOREAL Godzilla (1989)" and "DEFOREAL Biollante", but also features a new night color paint application with lower brightness and a weathered look, recreating the appearance of the two great monsters during their night battle at Lake Ashi in the film. Additionally, LED lights are built into Godzilla's dorsal fins and Biollante's abdomen, allowing them to recreate their respective glowing forms once batteries are inserted!
