BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest product in its Kamen Rider Shokugan 'SO-DO CHRONICLE' series, 'Kamen Rider EX-AID,' is scheduled for release in November 2024.
The Kamen Rider figures in the 'SO-DO CHRONICLE' Shokugan series stand approximately 10 cm tall, featuring intricate sculpting and articulated designs, with some parts pre-painted. The products are divided into two types: the [A] Body Set and the [B] Armor Set. Once collected, these can be combined to form the Kamen Rider's main body and its dedicated weaponry. The included color-correction stickers further enhance the appearance to closely match the on-screen portrayal.
Released 8 years after the original 'SO-DO' series, 'SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider EX-AID' has been completely re-engineered with new designs. Both the sculpting and physique are now closer to the actual suits used in the show. The full-body articulation incorporates new mechanisms developed in recent products, such as pseudo pull-out joints and ball joint articulation. Additionally, each Rider comes with their dedicated weapon accessories, eliminating the need to purchase separate accessory sets.
The first wave of products will feature five Riders: 'Kamen Rider EX-AID Action Gamer Level 2,' 'Kamen Rider Brave Quest Gamer Level 2,' 'Kamen Rider Snipe Shooting Gamer Level 2,' 'Kamen Rider Lazer Bike Gamer Level 2,' and 'Kamen Rider Genm Action Gamer Level 2.' With their flexible articulation and dedicated weapons, fans can recreate iconic scenes from the show, such as the co-op battle sequence from the opening!
