BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced that the latest 8th installment of its 'Mobile Suit Gundam' themed candy toy series 'MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM', titled "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM VOL.8", is scheduled for release in October 2024.
'MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM' continues the design concept of another Gundam candy toy series, 'G-FRAME', creating popular Mobile Suits from the 'Mobile Suit Gundam' series in an approximately 3-head-tall proportion. It utilizes a common "MOBILITY JOINT" movable frame structure, boasting around 20 points of articulation throughout the body. The exterior armor also features a high density of details different from the original settings. Once all parts and stickers are assembled, you will have a Mobile Suit approximately 70mm tall.
This 8th installment features four new mobile suits from the theatrical anime film 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM', including Kira Yamato's Strike Freedom Gundam Type II, Athrun Zala's Infinite Justice Gundam Type II, the main antagonist's mobile suit Black Knight Squad Cal-re.A, and the mass-produced GELGOOG MENACE (General Type).
