Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) will release the latest product from its model kit line, "Ultraman (Shin Ultraman)," based on the tokusatsu film "Shin Ultraman." The suggested retail price is 8,200 JPY, with an estimated release in November 2024.

The Japanese tokusatsu hero kaiju film "Shin Ultraman," co-produced by Tsuburaya Productions, Toho, and Khara, reinterprets the 1966 tokusatsu TV series "Ultraman." Similar to "Shin Godzilla," released in 2016, the film reconstructs the work with a modern societal backdrop. The goal is to allow audiences to once again experience the "shock of seeing Ultraman for the first time on television," returning to its origins to recreate the work's charm, and also to let viewers experience "a world where Ultraman exists, as never seen before."

Kotobukiya's "Ultraman (Shin Ultraman)" model kit faithfully reproduces the long-limbed, elegantly streamlined design from the film "Shin Ultraman." Utilizing CAD design, it features precise sculpting and an articulated structure. Once assembled, it stands approximately 18.5 cm tall. All parts throughout the body have undergone thorough color separation, allowing for a highly finished Ultraman simply by assembly! The shoulders are designed with pull-out joints to increase the range of motion. In addition to 3 expressive interchangeable hand parts, it also includes replacement hands for use with the Ultra Slash and Specium Ray effect parts! This allows for dynamic enjoyment of various poses.
