Danish toy company LEGO recently unveiled two very unique Star Wars products, inspired by the upcoming Disney+ exclusive series, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, set to premiere on September 13, 2024. These are the "75389 The Dark Falcon" and the "75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up"! They are scheduled for release on August 1, 2024.
Update on June 27, 2024:
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is a special commemorative animation celebrating the 25th anniversary of the "LEGO Star Wars" product line in 2024. The story depicts the "bricks" that built the galaxy being misplaced, causing the entire Star Wars world to fall apart, with incredible changes sweeping every corner. In the trailer, what I personally consider the biggest highlight is undoubtedly the Dark Falcon, which has turned completely black and is even equipped with powerful lasers, as well as Darth Jar Jar disembarking from the Dark Falcon!! Indeed, the conspiracy theory that Jar Jar Binks is a dark side follower is true.
LEGO 75389 The Dark Falcon
Suggested Retail Price: US$179.99, Total Parts: 1579 pieces, Estimated Release Date: August 1, 2024
The "Millennium Falcon," renowned as the fastest ship in the galaxy in the Star Wars saga, reappears after 45 years since its 1979 debut, now with a dark and imposing new look! Once assembled, it stands approximately 12 cm tall and measures 43 cm long. In addition to its intriguing black and red exterior, the interior is also fully detailed and easily accessible by lifting the top cover, featuring Darth Jar Jar's throne, control panels, a video game area, and a fiery red detention cell.
The minifigure lineup features some truly interesting variations, including Beach Luke in casual attire, Jedi Vader in all-white clothing wielding a blue lightsaber, C-3PO Bounty Hunter with glowing red eyes, Darth Dev, the smile-inducing Darth Jar Jar, and Darth Rey, who wields two red lightsabers. The minifigure roster is truly incredible!
LEGO 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up
Suggested Retail Price: US$109.99, Total Parts: 1063 pieces, Estimated Release Date: August 2024
Next up is a classic fighter set featuring the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, but this time, we can combine these two fighters! They transform into the X-Wing TIE Fighter seen in the trailer! The minifigure lineup includes main characters Sig Greebling, Yesi Scala, a Rebel Pilot, a TIE Fighter Pilot, and a super cool astromech droid L3-GO. Not only are its colors the iconic LEGO red and yellow, but its name L3-GO is also surely derived from LEGO! This set is highly collectible.
