Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby's GASHAPON brand, known for its "Mobile Suit Gundam" themed gashapon series "CAPSULE ACTION", has announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED", the "Striker Pack", slated for release in November 2024.
The FX-550 Skygrasper is an atmospheric combat aircraft developed by the Earth Alliance to support the tactical operations of the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. This machine features a highly automated system for easy pilot control and can be equipped with a variety of anti-air and anti-ground armaments. Furthermore, it can also equip the Aile, Sword, and Launcher "Striker Packs" used by the 105 series mobile suits, either for its own armament or to transport them to the front lines for use by allied units.
The "CAPSULE ACTION Striker Pack" is a set product that includes the Skygrasper main unit, the Strike Gundam (Mechanical Clear Ver.) main unit, the Aile Striker Pack, the Sword Striker Pack, and the Launcher Striker Pack. It will be sold on the Bandai PREMIUM BANDAI website.
The Strike Gundam (Mechanical Clear Ver.) uses the same mold as the generally released "Strike Gundam", but is more translucent compared to the matte black clear version. The product utilizes precise sculpting and partial color application to recreate each mobile suit and equipment, and can equip all three Striker Packs onto both the Skygrasper and Strike Gundam, just like in the series, recreating all the forms that appeared in the show!
