The completed transforming/combining toy series "THE GATTAI", launched by Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical-themed brand MECHA SMILE, recently announced information on several new products themed around the robot anime "Bang Bravern".
The previously announced "THE GATTAI Burst Dragon" has finally revealed in-development CG images and prototypes. As per the anime's setting, the Burst Dragon, which normally appears in fighter jet form, contains a complete transformation and combination mechanism. It can combine with the separately sold "THE GATTAI DX Bravern" to recreate "Burst Bravern" with no leftover parts.
The newly announced product, "THE GATTAI Superbia", although it does not possess any transformation or combination functions, is exceptionally released in this series and adopts the same scale to allow it to be played with "THE GATTAI DX Bravern".
Superbia utilizes clear parts to recreate the multiple purple crystal bodies on its form, possesses the same flexible articulation design as Bravern, and can recreate its twin wings deployed state. It can be posed with its twin-headed spear weapon "Hien Raiga" to enjoy cool battle poses. Furthermore, the accessories also include its transformed greatsword, the "Superbia Sword (Standard Color)", allowing "Burst Bravern" to equip it to recreate its final battle appearance.
In order for collectors to also awaken the courage in their hearts when playing with "THE GATTAI DX Bravern", MECHA SMILE is currently developing an expansion part that can be used with the product: "THE GATTAI DX Bravern Backpack-Type Sound Unit (Provisional Name)". This unit can replace the original backpack part, allowing the model itself to emit various famous lines of Bravern from the show and even its battle theme song.
