Following the "Super Beast Machine God Dancouga" which combined the features of its two major series, the transforming toy "THE GATTAI" and the alloy model "HAGANE WORKS," Japan's MECHA SMILE brand today announced the commercialization of its latest work, "Dairuga," with a release date yet to be determined.
Ultimate Dancouga was originally a game-original form introduced in the 2021 game "Super Robot Wars 30." Based on Dancouga, it features added armor to protect exposed cockpits and additional large wings and thrusters, significantly enhancing its attack, defense, combination time, and cruising range, while also reducing the burden on the pilots.
For this product, original designer Masami Obari participated in its creation, redesigning Ultimate Dancouga's additional equipment into a brand new original Beast Machine, "Dairuga." It is set to be an enhanced unit that can combine with Dancouga. Similar to other Beast Machines, it can transform from a fighter-like "Normal Mode" into a dragon-like "Beast Mode" and a "Humanoid Robot Mode." After disassembling into parts, it can combine with Dancouga to form "Ultimate Dancouga"!
