The brand new original bishoujo plastic model kit series 'VALKYRIE TUNE', launched by Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, has been officially announced. Prototypes of two characters currently under development, 'V.T. Melody Blaze (tentative name)' and 'V.T. March Drill (tentative name)', were simultaneously displayed. Release date is yet to be determined.
'VALKYRIE TUNE' is a plastic model kit series themed around "music". It features highly articulated bishoujo figures with vibrant, colorful parts forming splendid band and orchestra costumes. They are equipped with various musical weapons designed based on real-world instruments, allowing for diverse poses depicting performances and battles.
One of the currently revealed characters, 'Melody Blaze (tentative name)', is a bright and cheerful band girl. Her musical weapon functions as a guitar normally, and transforms into a multi-purpose rifle during combat.
The other character, 'March Drill (tentative name)', is an orchestra girl dressed in a magnificent costume. Her musical weapon is a massive tuba-type instrument, which transforms into a maser cannon during combat.
