JOYTOY, a high-quality action figure collectible brand from China, has obtained official Nickelodeon authorization to launch four new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" themed products—1/18 scale action figures of "Leonardo," "Raphael," "Donatello," and "Michelangelo." The suggested retail price is US$39.99 each, or US$159.96 for a set of four. Pre-orders are currently available first in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau, with an estimated release date of October 2024!
This new series of Ninja Turtles action figures appears to draw elements from multiple works, such as the white-eyed design from the 2003 animated series and the classic 1987 animated series' color-coded knee and elbow pads. Each turtle is sculpted with the lean musculature and organic feel of their shells, reminiscent of the comic books, while the flowing mask ties enhance the overall dynamic effect! The designs are tailored to each of the four turtles' individual personalities, especially in the weapon storage on the back of their shells; Raphael's spikes and Michelangelo's license plate are perfectly aligned with their characters!
Accessories include a skateboard with color-matched wheels, a shell communicator, and their favorite pizza for each turtle. In addition to their signature weapons, versions with effect parts are also included, allowing for cool attack poses! Besides the standard action figure base printed with "TURTLES," each of the four turtles also comes with a small, meticulously painted manhole cover base fragment. Purchasing all four figures allows you to combine them into a complete manhole cover diorama, perfect for a 360-degree display of the four awesome turtles!
