Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS' popular prize figure brand BANPRESTO's "WCF" series and TAMASHII NATIONS' collectible figure brand "S.H.Figuarts" join forces to create the latest product from One Piece: "WCF × S.H.Figuarts Monkey D. Luffy (Tamashii Web Shop Ver.)"! Also, from the WCF series, there's the "PREMIUM -Monkey D. Luffy SPECIAL-"! Both are scheduled for release starting December 2024, with suggested retail prices of 3,300 and 16,060 JPY (tax included) respectively. These are truly incredible products!
First, let's look at the WCF PREMIUM -Monkey D. Luffy SPECIAL- diorama, priced over 16,000 JPY! Standing at an impressive 17 cm tall, it not only brings together Luffy's Gear Second, Gear Third, Gear Fourth (Boundman, Tankman, Snakeman), but also his latest Gear Fifth, the Human-Human Fruit, Model: Nika form! Furthermore, the abundant steam that accompanies Luffy's transformations serves as a three-dimensional background to fix the figures, complemented by the Straw Hat, "Monkey D. Luffy" lettering, the Straw Hat Pirates' flag at the base, and the Devil Fruit that made it all possible, showcasing a super magnificent co-performance of Luffy's various forms!
Next up is the WCF × S.H.Figuarts Monkey D. Luffy, which condenses S.H.Figuarts' focus on sculpting, coloring, and articulation into a 7 cm body! The overall design is based on his appearance two years later, meticulously reproducing costume details, muscle texture, and facial contours, while also including interchangeable face parts and hand parts, allowing for both powerful battle poses and joyful toasting at a banquet! And by placing this figure into the WCF PREMIUM -Monkey D. Luffy SPECIAL- diorama, Luffy's regular form is completed, truly compelling collectors to purchase both items together – it's incredibly impressive!!
