Furyu (FURYU Corporation), a renowned Japanese prize toy manufacturer, under its high-quality figure brand "F:NEX," has once again announced the latest product from "Laid-Back Camp," the "Shima Rin 1/7 Scale Figure," following "Kagamihara Nadeshiko." It has a suggested retail price of 33,000 JPY and is slated for release in April 2025.
The manga series "Laid-Back Camp" (Yuru Camp△) by Japanese manga artist Afro, serialized in "Manga Time Kirara Forward," tells the story of high school girl "Shima Rin," who enjoys solo camping during the off-season. While camping at Lake Motosu, she encounters "Kagamihara Nadeshiko," who had cycled to see Mount Fuji but overslept and found herself in a predicament. After interacting with Rin, Nadeshiko developed an interest in camping and subsequently joined her school's "Outdoor Activities Club," embarking on a story where a group of high school girls enjoy outdoor activities, camping knowledge, and cooking together.
The "Shima Rin" 1/7 scale pre-painted complete figure faithfully recreates the illustration from the inner cover of manga Volume 11! Standing approximately 20.5 cm tall, it captures Shima riding her beloved Vino scooter, with her dog (Shiba has practiced, ordinary people should not imitate) riding along.
