The 1/144 scale Gunpla 'HG (High Grade)' series, known for its diverse range of mobile suits and produced by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., recently announced the commercialization of a new mobile suit from the official side story 'Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch from Mercury Vanadis Heart': the 'HG 1/144 Begilbeutol (tentative name)'. It is scheduled for exclusive sale on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The Begilbeutol (tentative name) is a specification modified by Grassley Defense Systems, based on the Begir-Pente, and specialized for operation in Earth environments. It is also equipped with "Counter-Wave" technology, capable of interfering with the Permet Score of GUND-ARM type mobile suits. After its deployment to Earth, it was operated by Kenanji's squad and Olcott's squad of the Dominicus Corps, each featuring different head unit designs.
Only partial product images have currently been released for the 'HG 1/144 Begilbeutol (Kenanji's Squad Unit / Olcott's Squad Unit)'. Further details will be announced at a later date.
