HONŌ STUDIO, the new brand under world-renowned collectible toy manufacturer HotToys, which gathers numerous outstanding designers globally, following the previous "Wolverine" and "Magneto," once again launches its third Marvel Comics-themed creation—the "Spider-Man (Symbiote Suit)" 1/6 scale collectible figure. With a suggested retail price of US$175, it is expected to be released between October 2024 and March 2025!
The Symbiote Suit first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #252. Peter accidentally released the symbiote while repairing his suit during "Secret Wars." It bonded with his Spider-Man suit and enhanced his various abilities. Initially, Peter felt completely at ease using this symbiote suit to fight crime. It wasn't until various strange occurrences began to happen that he realized his suit was actually alive and tried to escape its control.
This "Spider-Man (Symbiote Suit)" 1/6 scale collectible figure stands approximately 30 cm tall. It is crafted based on the Symbiote Suit's appearance in the comics, faithfully recreating the white spider emblem on the chest and back of the all-black Spider-Man suit. The fabric material has a certain degree of stretchability, allowing for various poses with the highly articulated body. The face part also includes two pairs of interchangeable white eye lenses, allowing Spider-Man to change expressions to match his dynamic poses!
Accessories include a white backpack made of webbing, as seen in the comics, three sets of interchangeable hands, and two sets of bendable web effects. These can be bent into different shapes according to posing needs! Furthermore, the base also comes with a display stand for comic books. If collectors own The Amazing Spider-Man comics, they can display them alongside Spider-Man, creating the impression that he has stepped right out of the comic pages!
