Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse, which releases figures of numerous popular Japanese anime and manga characters under its "G.E.M." series, today unveiled the painted prototype of its latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY": "Meer Campbell Negligee Ver." The release date is yet to be determined.

After the previous great war, P.L.A.N.T. diva Lacus Clyne and her father's Clyne faction defected from ZAFT. However, a girl with the same appearance as Lacus, Meer Campbell, appeared within the territory. Originally a fan of Lacus, she was scouted by Chairman Gilbert Durandal, who had her undergo plastic surgery and trained her to be Lacus's double. She sang and danced before the public to win over the people. The lively and innocent Meer became a political puppet, achieving her dream appearance but ultimately dying in place of the idol she admired.
"G.E.M. Meer Campbell Negligee Ver." brings Meer to life, showcasing her sexy figure in a negligee. She not only sports a mischievous smile but also poses on all fours like a feline, extending a playful hand. However, after this product was announced, the focus shifted away from Meer and instead centered on the ongoing discussion about the absence of a figure for "Cagalli," a major female character in the series, both before and after the movie's release.
